This organisation located in central Auckland is a well known facilities/property management company. Due to internal requirements they are seeking a versatile Senior Accountant to be part of their accounts team. 

About the role

This is a fixed term contract commencing ASAP till end of March 2025. It is a vital role for the organisation, would suit someone who is strategic, hands on and highly analytical. The role reports to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day to day transactional accounting, Fixed assets, bank reconciliation, month end procedures, reporting and evaluating commercial opportunities to increase yield and improve business.

About you:

• Previous senior financial accounting experience within a large commercial environment – ideally 5+ years
• Exceptional numerical, analytical, exposure to MS Dynamics (desirable) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
