What you’ll be doing:
The Payroll Advisor manages a portfolio of clients and provides end to end payroll support for their business, you will become your customer’s first point of call for all of their payroll requirements and you’ll be able to provide detailed advice in a casual fashion. You will be working alongside a team of like-minded professionals who all have the same common goals and interests.
General duties include:
- Managing a portfolio of diverse corporate clients with a variety of payroll needs
- Conducting payment runs, client onboarding, handling escalations and back payments
- Become the first point of call for payroll related customer queries
- Provide support to wider payroll team and administrators with payment runs
- Conduct system maintenance and updates in Pay Global and other tools
To be successful in this assignment you should have the following experience:
- Approximately 3 years of payroll processing experience
- Comfortable with conducting payment runs for a variety of different customers
- Demonstrated experience in using Pay Global or a similar payroll tool
- Strong knowledge of NZ payroll legislation and employment law
- Ability to provide advice to external customers on payroll related queries
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
