This organisation, based in central Auckland is a well-known, successful property investment company. They are seeking an experienced and versatile Financial Accountant to be part of their close-knit team.

About the role:

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the CFO and Senior Management. Please note: due to nature of the business this is an office based role. You will responsible for day to day transactional accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, cashflow, budgeting forecasting, modelling, managing financial aspects related to tenants and projects, month end, year end, payroll, prepare annual reports, and provide strategic input optimising growth and ensuring company adheres to compliance and statutory regulations. 

About you:

• Previous 4-5 years' experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
• CA or CPA qualification
• Experience within property/construction sector - an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Resilient, creative problem solver
• Proficient in Excel and experienced in financial modelling
