This organisation located in central Auckland is a well known facilities management company. Due to internal requirements they are seeking a versatile Senior Financial Accountant to be part of their accounts team for 6-9 months. 

About the role

This is a vital role for the organisation, would suit someone who is strategic and highly analytical . Primary focus of the role is to provide effective financial control and evaluate commercial opportunities to increase yield and improve business. You will be responsible for day to day financial operations, providing commercial acumen and support across other business units, preparing effective financial reports, variance and trend analysis and ensuring the company adheres to compliance, tax and other statutory requirements. 

About you:

• Previous senior financial accounting experience within a large commercial environment – ideally 5+ years
• CA qualified or equivalent - a must
• Exceptional numerical, analytical, Power BI (desirable) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
