An established not for profit based in the CBD are on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Advisor to come in and support their fortnightly payroll function from now until late October 2024 approximately. 

 

The assignment requires someone who has a solid comprehension of NZ payroll legislation, exposure to high volume payroll environments, a keen eye for detail and a customer orientated focus.

General duties include: 

  • Provide support to wider payroll team with payment runs
  • Become the first point of call for payroll related customer queries
  • Update data and conduct maintenance on employee records in Pay Global
  • Providing on-going support to Payroll Manager on regular basis 

 

To be successful in this assignment you should have the following experience: 

  • Approximately 2 years of payroll processing experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in using Pay Global  
  • Knowledge of the Holidays Act and Wages Protection Act 
  • Ability to provide advice to internal customers on payroll related queries
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills   
  • Exceptional attention to detail
