Job Summary 

Are you a HR Advisor or HR Project Lead looking for your next opportunity? My client, based in Wellington City currently have an opening for an experienced HR Advisor/ HR Project Lead on a 6-month Fixed Term ContractPreferably you will start this side of 2024, however for the right candidate we would be open to a 2025 start date. This company is a short walk from the train station and has a collaborative friendly team environment.  

 

What you will be doing   

  • Review current Health and Safety Procedures and recommend updates where necessary  

  • Develop and implement a Diversity and Inclusion Framework 

  • Complete a review of their Business Continuity Plan  

  • Provide advice on legislation, policies and leadership development  

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships  

  

To be successful in this assignment you should have the following experience: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a HR Generalist role, with at least 2 years at a senior level. 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act and the ability to develop safety frameworks 

  • Prior experience in developing diversity and inclusion frameworks 

  • Strong project management skills 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills     

  • Demonstrated attention to detail   

  • Strong relationship building skills across a varied range of stakeholders 

  

A bit about you  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related Field 

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation  

  • Proven experience of strong stakeholder relationships  

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to develop practical solutions 

  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail 

  • NZ Citizen, Resident or Permanent Resident
