Job Description
Our client is spearheading a strategic project focused on revolutionising their inventory management systems, from demand forecasting to dispatch. The aim is to elevate their systems to a world-class standard, enhance efficiency, and optimise stock levels.
As a key member of the Inventory Management strategic project team, you will actively contribute to evaluating and improving inventory systems. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across sales, engineering, finance, and operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop KPI reporting for the project and provide regular progress updates to the team.
- Collaborate with sales staff to enhance sales forecast accuracy.
- Review and implement improved systems for inventory management, spanning Sales & Operations Planning, MRP, and raw materials to finished goods.
- Optimise EPICOR bills of materials and minimise variances in collaboration with operations and supply chain teams.
- Analyse inventory systems to report forecast inventory levels and associated cash flow requirements accurately.
- Investigate stock variances and MRP suggestions to enhance system efficiency.
- Implement internal controls around inventory and ensure compliance.
- Document inventory systems comprehensively using Promapp.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to minimise inventory levels.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations and improve stock counting accuracy.
- Explore opportunities within the new EPICOR version, Kinetic, to enhance inventory management and collaborate with the project team for implementation.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Inventory and Stock Management Accounting
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in EPICOR or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
