We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accountant & Bookkeeper to join my client's successful IT business operating a leading SaaS platform. This part-time role (10-15 hours per week) offers flexibility while providing key financial support to our growing company.
About the Role:
This position involves a mix of bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, ensuring smooth financial operations and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Invoice Management:
- Load and issue invoices accurately and on time
- Ensure accounts receivable and payable processes run smoothly
- Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Accounting & Reporting:
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare and submit GST returns
- Conduct monthly variance analysis (budget vs actual)
- Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting
- Assist with payroll processing
- Financial Support & Strategy:
- Provide financial insights to assist the Managing Director in decision-making
- Support financial forecasting and business planning
- Assist with finance-related projects as required
About You:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting
- Strong Xero proficiency is essential
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage financial tasks
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
