Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Events Administrator to join their high performing team. This team is committed to promoting excellence and innovation within the design and architecture community through a diverse range of events, workshops, and seminars.

Position Overview:

The Events Administrator will play a crucial role in organising and coordinating events efficiently and effectively, ensuring they meet high standards and contribute to the success or client's mission. This position requires independence, strong organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a small office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events throughout the year to a high standard.
  • Support organization-wide requirements, including venue bookings, travel arrangements, catering, and online booking management.
  • Promote branch and other events.
  • Prepare budgets for events.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to promote and support events.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Propose edits to the website and social media.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to travel as available.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.

Skills Required:

  • Proven administrative experience in events management.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, using initiative.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and processes.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Patient and calm under pressure.

Qualifications and Work History:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in events management administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with online event management platforms.
