Job Description

A membership-based professional organisation based in central Auckland is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Administrator - part time to be part of their close knit team.

About the Role:

This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 24 hours per week. Hours may be worked across five days, or three days (with Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) being mandatory.

This is a varied, hands-on role providing administrative and financial support, assisting the membership team, and engaging directly with members. You will be highly organised, a confident communicator, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance & Accounting Support – Assist with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll processing.
  • Membership Support – Engage with members, manage inquiries, assist with renewals, and ensure smooth membership processes.
  • Administration & Office Coordination – Maintain office systems, coordinate meetings, and manage suppliers.
  • Data & Reporting – Use MS Excel for data management, reporting, and financial tracking.
  • General Support – Provide assistance to senior management and team members across various projects.

About You:

  • Proven senior level accounts administration experience 4+ years 
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
  • A hands-on, adaptable approach to problem-solving
