This organsisation based in central Auckland is a well known global business. Due to internal requirements they are seeking a Security Analyst with a keen eye for detail and a passion for safeguarding information assets. As an IT Security Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data remains secure and compliant with standards.

About the role: 

This is a full time permanent position, reports to the Security Lead, you will be responsible for: 

• Conducting thorough risk assessments and gap analyses to pinpoint vulnerabilities and potential threats to the information security
• Managing controls, policies, risks, and compliance 
• Collaborating with the broader security, external providers and IT teams to attain and uphold ISO27001 certification
• Supporting staff training and awareness initiatives on information security and risk management
• Staying abreast with the latest trends and technologies in information security and risk management
• Maintaining comprehensive system documentation and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures

About you: 

• Previous 3-4 years similar information security/risk management experience 
• Well versed with security frameworks
• Experience in security audits and penetration testing - desirable 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially astute, practical and process-driven mindset
• Experience in writing policy and procedure documentation
