Parker Bridge are working on behalf of a CBD based public sector client who are looking for a Commercial Contract Manager to manage their ever changing contracts portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be key to mitigating risk, fostering strong relationships with partners, and ensuring that agreements are in line with our client’s objectives.

 

General duties include:

  • Lead contract negotiation, drafting, and review for commercial agreements, including service contracts, supplier agreements, and customer agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives, and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Identify and manage contract risks, proposing solutions to mitigate potential issues
  • Track financial activity, costs, and performance, ensuring invoices are validated against contracts
  • Monitor performance and obligations under commercial contracts to ensure compliance and fulfilment

 

To be successful in this role you should have the following experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments
  • Proven experience in proactive management and administration of contracts
