Are you an experienced Accounts & Bookkeeping professional? Our client, a leading provider of economic analysis and advisory services, is seeking a skilled finance specialist to manage their bookkeeping and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily bookkeeping and finance functions

Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
-
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
-
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

Handle GST, FBT, PAYE, and other tax filings
-
Accurately record trading activity and manage cash flow
-
Oversee intercompany transactions
-
Prepare for and assist with two annual audits
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
-
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices
-
Proficiency in Xero, payroll systems, and MS Excel
-
High level of integrity, trust, and discretion
-
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
