What you would be doing
The Finance Manager is a critical role that sits within the senior management team and leads the finance function of the factory in the Hutt Valley.
The role reports directly into the Finance Director and has a selection of direct reports underneath them.
Their team are completely autonomous, collaborative and forward thinking. Allowing the Finance Manager to provide expertise to the wider operation.
In order to be successful in this role you must have demonstrated experience within strategic senior finance, exposure to large-scale manufacturing environments and ideally be a fully certified CAANZ or CPA accountant.
You will be doing any of the following:
- Report into the leadership team
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Inventory and cost analysis
- Financial modelling and insights
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
- Monitoring AP / AR and credit control
- NZ and Australian tax management
- Month and year end processes
Who are we looking for?
I am looking for a highly experienced Finance Manager who has ideally worked within the manufacturing, logistics, import / export or FMCG industries in a previous role.
You must have a collaborative and tactical attitude with a keen focus towards commercial success.
You should have the following experience:
- Strong leadership experience
- Exposure to large complex commercial environments
- Defined management and financial accounting experience.
- Ability to win over stakeholders swiftly
- Significant ERP system experience
- CA, CPA or CIMA certification
- NZ citizenship or NZ permanent Residency
