The role
This role with support the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the accounting function. You will also add value to the new system upgrade project that is due to commence soon.
The role offers 6 months of full-time fixed term employment alongside a supportive management team in a successful consultancy environment in the city.
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have demonstrated transactional finance experience within a SME level business that is both service and revenue driven.
You will be doing any of the following:
- Conducting accounts payables / receivables processes
- Credit and debt management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Run journals and monitor financial controls
- Get involved in new system projects coming up
- Assist with month end processes
What you’ll need to succeed
I am looking for an experienced Senior Finance Administrator with exposure to Assistant Accountant level duties. You will need to be inquisitive, detail orientated, highly motivated and dedicated to your craft.
You’ll enjoy drilling into the detail, collaborating with the wider team, pulling apart data to find solutions and processing day to day transactional payables, receivables and credit control.
Ideally, you’ll have the following expertise:
- At least 5 years of high-level finance administration experience
- Exposure to medium sized commercial business working environments
- Extensive knowledge of accounts payables, receivables and credit control
- Comfortable with conducting balance sheet reconciliations
- The ability to monitor and manage financial controls
- Strong FMIS and MS Excel capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
