The Finance Business Partner reports into the Financial Controller and provides support to the wider finance team and general management. Your aim is to provide analysis and insights across the company and then deliver direction within BAU and project environments whilst looking after a variety of different internal and external stakeholders.
You will be expected to do the following:
- Offer guidance towards different business units through project and BAU phases
- Annual budget preparation and ongoing financial forecasting
- Fixed asset register maintenance and IFRS -16 reporting
- Revenue and cashflow reporting
- P&L reporting and variance analytics
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement
I’m on the lookout for anyone who has demonstrated experience as a Finance Business Partner within large public or commercial sector organisations. You must understand the core competencies of management and financial accounting, feel confident in driving results within project environments, and be able to win over clients/customers effectively.

To be successful you must have the following:
- CA or CPA certification
- 5 years’ experience of demonstrated technical management and financial accounting experience
- Over 3 years’ experience of Finance Business Partnering
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Have profound knowledge of core accounting standards
- NZ Residency or Citizenship
