Job Description
Our client seeks an Assistant Accountant for an on-going temporary assignment, stationed in East Tamaki. You'll enjoy the convenience of complimentary parking and collaborate closely with a supportive CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Allocate customer payments and aid in debtors batching
- Prepare daily cashflows
- Administer company payroll
- Manage accounts receivable and credit control
- Oversee credit card administration and GL coding
- Maintain the Fixed Asset register
- Execute month-end closure and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Generate actual-to-budget variance reports
- Handle GST, FBT, PAYE, and PAYG return filing
- Assist in preparing year-end financial statements
- Compile the monthly Board Pack
- Attend to general administration duties
- Support with ad-hoc requests, special projects, and other duties as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
