We are currently searching for a Senior Financial Analyst with excellent experience in manufacturing costing analysis to join our client's team.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work proactively with internal stakeholders to optimise gross profit and inventory. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the Group P&L items from sales down to the gross profit level, creating and analysing the results and forecasting in a timely and meaningful manner. You will also have primary responsibility for the accuracy of inventory valuation. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a trusted partner on all cost elements, particularly manufacturing for the company. Responsibilities:
- Providing analysis on sales and gross margin, both historic and future
- Working closely with the sales team on understanding and improving margins
- Analysing inventory and working with stakeholders to minimise levels
- Forecasting and budgeting for all aspects of cost of sales, inventory, and distribution
- Providing monthly reporting and variance analysis
About you:
Along with a formal accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent), you will have:
- At least 5 years prior experience in manufacturing costing analysis
- Experience working in an ERP environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changeable environment
- Desire to work with your stakeholders face to face
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
