About the Role:

Seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive with a deep understanding of the tech sector. In this role, you'll thrive on the consultancy side of sales, building strong customer partnerships and driving new business opportunities. You'll focus on the Auckland region, leveraging your existing network to unlock value and cultivate new opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with their sales strategy.
  • Articulate service offerings, value propositions, and engagement models to potential clients.
  • Manage strategic accounts through regular communication, account reviews, and participation in key project meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team and Sales & Marketing colleagues to develop and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up promptly on requests.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and attend networking events to promote our services.

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of technology sales experience ideally in the software industries.
  • Certification in a relevant sales methodology.
  • Familiarity with core technologies and software development processes.
  • Experience with tender document writing and response.
  • Established network within New Zealand; exposure to international sales processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies.
  • Track record of executing business transformation strategies.
