A well-established organisation is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to take ownership of key financial and reporting responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, computer savvy, and experienced in managing both people and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a small finance team 

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all statutory obligations 

• Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies 

• Manage payroll processes for both monthly and fortnightly staff 

• Prepare and submit monthly financial results, forecasts, and reports to overseas stakeholders

• Maintain the general ledger, fixed asset register, and ensure accurate reconciliations

• Assist with implementation and management of new accounting systems and processes

• Oversee royalty reporting, rights income, and associated reconciliations

• Support external audit processes and annual financial reporting

• Monitor daily cash flow and manage foreign exchange contracts as required

About You:

• CA or CPA qualification preferred

• Strong financial reporting and compliance experience

• Prior team management or supervisory experience preferred

• Advanced computer literacy, including ERP systems and Excel

• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills

• Comfortable working to strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
