Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records in Xero, Re-Leased, and other relevant systems.
- Oversee treasury functions, including daily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
- Manage tenant relationships for financial purposes, including responding to queries and debtor reporting.
- Coordinate month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Lead finance projects to enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience.
- Provide general support across the business as part of a small Head Office team.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for review.
- Manage payables/creditor processes and payroll.
- Lead annual tenant opex wash-ups and budgets.
- Prepare annual Group P&L and cash forecasts, including rolling and long-term forecasts.
- Contribute to the design of internal controls and finance risk management framework.
- Provide strategic input into the direction of the Group alongside senior management.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize returns within the Group's risk profile.

Position purpose To provide technical, analytical, design, and programming support for the University Enterprise Data Warehouse Application Project. The role will work within a team of other staff supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse Application. Position location The Senior Oracle Developer is located within the Planning and Information Management team. The role of the Planning and Management Information Unit (P&MI), as part of the Chief Operating Officer’s area, is to provide the University with trusted and accurate management information that supports the achievement of the University’s strategic goals, informs decision-making, complies with regulatory requirements, and in a manner that enhances the reputation of the University. Strategic context Planning and Management Information has a strategic/operational plan that is aligned to Victoria’s Strategic Plan. The Senior Oracle Developer will help P&MI achieve its goals by providing expertise in development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting systems so that fit for purpose information can be provided to support data driven decision making within the university. Key responsibilities Business Intelligence solutions
• Design and develop business analytical solutions. • Design Business Intelligence architecture in an Oracle and Power BI environment, e.g., Facts
and Dimensions, Security Permissions, and Reports. • Design and develop ETL (Extract Transform and Load) maps using industry standard tools
like Oracle Data Integrator. • Design and implement reporting solutions with consistent core methodologies using reporting
tools like Power BI. • Lead development, design, and implementation of data warehouse stars, reports, and
dashboards based on user requirements. • As the team operates using an agile methodology, support the team to achieve its outputs by
also undertaking testing or business analysis as needed.
Outcome: EDW reports, dashboards, and other data visualisations are produced that meet the needs of Victoria. Testing, Incidents, and Documentation
• Support the operation of the EDW by fixing incidents and ensuring the ongoing operation of the data warehouse.
• Create and maintain fit-for-purpose documentation on data warehouse processes and procedures, troubleshoot and tune product performance, and fix deployment issues as required.
Outcome: EDW operates with a high degree of dependability and resilience.
